I tried to use iMac 2013 27' as the external monitor of my macbook pro 2014 via thunderbolt cable. I am running windows 10 using bootcamp on my MBP, but no luck. Windows 10 cannot detect the cable. Any idea how to solve this?

If your iMac is currently started up in Windows, it won't enter Target Display Mode. Target Display Mode isn't supported in Boot Camp.
My iMac is running on MacOS, only the Macbook Pro is running on windows 10.
Both Macs need to be in OS X. Does the Command+F2 sequence work when both are in OS X?
Yes, Cmd+F2 works when both are in OS X and, and it also works for Windows 8 (MBP) + MacOS (iMac).
If you are using W10 Build 1607 or later or the Anniversary Update, there are known driver issues with many drivers under these two versions. Either use 1511 or older, or roll back to W8+.

2. If you shutdown your Windows side, and have a direct physical connection to the iMac, boot into Windows and test if the display is detected. Intervening TB/DP devices can cause problems.
1. No, it is not working on any versions of Windows 10.
2. After rebooting to Windows, Windows 10 cannot detect the any Thunderbolt display device with TB connected with iMac. The thunderbolt Ethernet however is working.
Do you have the option/desire to go back to W8.1, where this works properly?
